Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions primarily on Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, hands-on experience with Azure services. The role includes managing security, automation, and private connectivity solutions to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture and Implementation:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using Azure services.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates.
DevOps Practices:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Cloud Security:
- Configure and manage application network traffic using tools such as Azure Application Gateway and Azure Firewall.
- Implement Azure services for private connectivity, such as Azure VPN Gateway& Private Endpoints.
- Automate security testing and monitoring to identify vulnerabilities within the DevOps pipeline.
Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.
- Optimize resource usage and implement cost-saving measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
Innovation and Best Practices:
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure and cloud technologies.
- Integrate relevant innovations into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Azure services.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Network, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS).
- Proficiency in IaC tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Proficiency in containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPNs, Application Gateway, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL.
- Strong scripting skills in Python.
Soft Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
