Optellix - Computational Scientist - C++/Python (5-7 yrs)

The Computational Scientist is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing algorithms for geometry processing and parasolid modeling.

This role emphasizes creating robust and efficient solutions for complex computational challenges, including applications in optics and high-fidelity simulations.

The scientist will play a critical role in enhancing the organization's capability in cutting-edge software development.

Core Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement algorithms for geometry and parasolid modeling, ensuring high performance and precision.

- Apply knowledge of optics or optical systems to enhance computational capabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into scalable software solutions.

- Optimize computational efficiency of algorithms in resource-intensive environments.

- Conduct research and stay updated on advancements in computational geometry, optics, and 3D modeling.

- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges in algorithm performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Computational Physics, Applied Mathematics, Optics, or related fields.

- Strong understanding of computational geometry and parasolid modeling.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with CAD, CAE, or optical design software is preferred.

- Proven problem-solving skills with experience tackling complex computational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of optics or optical systems and familiarity with related software tools.
