Optellix - C++ Desktop Application Developer (5-9 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C++ Developer to join our dynamic team for one of our client projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining advanced 3D modeling and simulation desktop applications.

You will collaborate with our software development team on-site to design, implement, and optimize high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced 3D modeling and simulation desktop applications using C++.

- Work closely with the founder in our office to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure software solutions align with business objectives.

- Implement efficient and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Debug and resolve software defects and issues.

- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.

- Prepare technical documentation and user guides for developed applications.

- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in 3D modeling software development and integrate new techniques into the software.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Over 5 years of proven experience as a C++ Developer, preferably in desktop application development for 3D modeling and simulation.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Proficiency with C++ and related libraries/frameworks (e.g, Qt, Boost).

- Experience with Parasolid or other 3D geometric modeling kernels.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g, Git).

- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g, Agile, Scrum).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Exposure to 3D graphics, geometry, and related algorithms.

- Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, or gaming engines is a plus.

- Knowledge of computational geometry and data structures.
