Job Title Manager
Job Grade M1 SBU / Division Opex
Reporting to As per the org structure
Candidate Profile
MSc/ B-Tech /B.Pharm with MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management
Should have minimum experience of 10 years in Opex procurement from reputed organization
preferably from Pharmaceutical R&D/Contract Research Organization/Discovery
Research/CRAMS industry
➢ Work as a people manager
➢ Develop the people and act as a mentor / coach as required
➢ Team management and drive performance of the team
➢ Should have in-depth knowledge of Procurement Cycle and Key Activities related to
CRO & R&D
➢ Should have good experience in managing long term contracts: ARC, AMC, O&M
contracts
➢ Experience in handling procurement of Formulation and Operational expenses
(OPEX) items and Services Raw materials, Excipients, Lab Chemicals, Consumables,
Glassware, Columns, MRO (engineering, maintenance, spares, consumables), CMO
(Contract Manufacturing Organization) services outsourcing and Analytical services is
preferred
➢ Experience in handling corporate services procurement (HK & Stationery, Facility
Services, Security Services, Manpower contracts and others) would be an advantage
Qualification
➢ Experience in handling IT services and Digital services procurement would be an Experience &
advantage
Skills Essentials
➢ Experience in handling database supplier contract and solar power contracts would
be an advantage
➢ Experience and sound knowledge of GMP and other regulatory requirements
➢ Strict Adherence to SOPs, Policies and Procedures
➢ Experience in handling strategic sourcing and procurement for formulation
development and manufacturing of oral solids and liquids, injectables, ophthalmic
products would be an added advantage but not mandatory
➢ Experience Biologics Procurement (Opex & Capex) would be an advantage
➢ Support equipment services procurement as required
➢ Ability to resolve service issues on priority
➢ Should be having strong Data Management skills with experience of data generation
through weekly, monthly, MIS reports & PPTS etc & analysis of Reports
➢ Good proficiency in computer skills
➢ Should Have good Communication skills to engage with domestic and international
suppliers, scientific teams, internal & external stakeholders
➢ Have strong commitment and passion towards quality work
➢ Proactive approach and problem solving skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
Accountable for Deliverables of Supply & Services to meet Business Requirements & Supplier
Relationship Management
Job Responsibilities ➢ Follow procurement process well in line with the SOP and procurement policy
➢ Meet all KRAs (Key Result Areas) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as specified
for the role
➢ Able to work as an individual contributor or as team manager
➢ Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management
➢ Drive effective supplier relationship management (SRM)
➢ Follow GMP and regulatory requirements as required
➢ Meet TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) and Green Procurement objectives
➢ Handling the estimate request and arranging for cost competitive quotation from
reliable suppliers
➢ Submitting comparative to Scientific team and coordinating for Indent processing
➢ PO Creation and circulation to suppliers with acknowledgement
➢ Coordination with Logistics and ensuring timely delivery with proper documentation
➢ Coordination with the Scientific In charges with the results & Analysis Reports on
receipt and resolution of issues if any
➢ Ensure smooth handling of P2P process
➢ Ensuring timely payment processing of Suppliers in coordination with Finance
➢ Develop alternate suppliers as required
➢ Able to work efficiently in SAP HANA and SAP Ariba
➢ Identify New Reputed Vendors and Negotiations for respective spend category
➢ Timely submission of MIS reports as per Functional requirements
➢ Working on new projects as per requirement of Business
➢ Vendor management and consolidation
➢ Consolidated of orders and derive synergies
➢ Adhere to the core Aragens values and policies
➢ Collaborate and support other procurement functions if necessary
