Summary:Owns most configuration work in the platform. Designs, develops, configures, and customizes (when necessary) platform applications and services. Appropriate ServiceNow certifications and micro-certs preferred. ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the Configuration, Administration, Development, Documentation and Technical support for ServiceNow applications. The individual will have to collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads or SN Architects to Develop ServiceNow applications, working through stories in sprints to fulfill customer requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, configure and code ServiceNow based on business requirements

Implement using best practices as pertains to workflows, integration, configuration, customization, orchestration, access controls, etc.

Solid skills using ServiceNow platform:develop APIs, Script includes, and Service Portal development.

Preparation of unit test cases and test scripts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve issues and incidents within multiple components of the ServiceNow platform.

Attend meetings with architects to ensure that all development tasks are aligned with the design and requirements of the customers.

Provide documentations according to standards.

Experience & Knowledge of ITSM modules on processes like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Reports, Security Operations and integrations like LDAP, REST API, etc.

Capable with ServiceNow configuration, scripting (Client and Server), integrations (REST, SOAP), Tables, Forms, Service Catalog, ACL, Workflows, email, events, inbound actions, reports, etc.

Experience with Service Portal Development

Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Security Rules (ACLs).

Experience in Flow Designer & integration hub
Additional Information:-Minimum 3 to 5 years of ServiceNow Development ExperienceBachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science

A 15 years full time education is required.
