Senior Software / Staff Engineer - Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the backend systems and services that power our applications. This role involves working closely with the front-end development team to integrate services, ensure seamless performance, and optimize the efficiency of our software products.

Role & responsibilities

• Development and Integration:
• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to establish and implement development environments conducive to efficient service writing.
• Microservices Architecture:
• Design, build, and maintain microservices, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and reusable.
• Optimize existing microservices for performance and scalability.
• Database Management:
• Develop and manage databases using PostgreSQL and Redis, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval.
• Performance Optimization:
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development to continuously improve our software solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

Education:

• BE/BTech/ME/M Tech in ECE/CS with 5+ years of relevant proven experience

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend development.
• Demonstrated experience with Python, Django DRF, AsyncIO, Redis, SQL/ PostgreSQL, REST APIs,
• Experience with system software and Linux services.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces and microservices architecture.
