Senior UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities

1. LMS Development & Customization

• Customize LMS themes, templates, and plugins to align with institutional branding.
• Stay updated on LMS trends (e.g., xAPI, LTI compliance) and EdTech innovations.

2. Front-End Development & Design

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI/UX designs using Figma.
• Develop responsive, mobile-friendly front-end interfaces for LMS dashboards, course pages, and interactive modules.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize load times for media-rich content.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement animations, micro-interactions, and visual storytelling elements.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) for diverse learner needs.

3. Client & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with instructional designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Document workflows, code, and customization processes for client handoffs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in LMS customization (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
• Expertise in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React/Angular.
• Experience integrating APIs, LTI tools, and plugins into LMS platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing LMS performance.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with LMS theme development (e.g., Moodle themes, Canvas CSS).
• Knowledge of animation libraries (GSAP, Lottie) for interactive learning elements.
• Basic understanding of PHP/Python for backend collaboration.
