Executing a variety of evidence synthesis projects with support and guidance from senior colleagues, including:
Pairwise meta-analysis and Bucher indirect treatment comparisons
Bayesian network meta-analysis, including non-proportional hazard methods and meta-regression
Population-adjusted indirect treatment comparisons, including matching-adjusted indirect comparison, simulated treatment comparison, and multi-level network meta-regression
Analysis of surrogate endpoints
Supporting data analyses projects, including:
Survival analysis, including flexible and innovative methods
Analysis of patient-reported outcomes measures from clinical trials (utility analysis)
Fitting bespoke statistical models onto clinical trial-level data to aid extrapolation into the future and provide parameter estimates for economic models
Identifying and developing statistical methodologies and strategies in partnership with project teams and independently
Assisting and developing the production and internal dissemination of statistical code for standard analysis
Drafting project reports and other deliverables
Adhering to project budgets and timelines
Supporting client interactions and outreach to ensure exceptional client satisfaction
Responding to requests for proposals as directed
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
A masters degree (MSc, MMATH or equivalent) in a statistical or mathematical subject.
Advanced programming skills in R is required.
Experience with building packages, version control, RMarkdown, Shiny, and STAN
Knowledge of health economic modeling is preferred
Intellectual curiosity and independence, to include the ability to self-start and self-teach
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with the ability to question the status quo
Ability to communicate complex statistical methods to internal and external stakeholders
