: We are seeking a highly motivated Modular Specialist with a strong background in structural engineering, precast construction, and volumetric modular solutions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Structural Design & Analysis:
Perform detailed structural analysis and design of modular systems, including precast and volumetric elements, ensuring adherence to local and international standards.
Optimize designs for strength, stability, seismic performance, and transportability while minimizing material usage and waste.
Develop and refine connection details and assembly sequences that streamline on-site installation and enhance overall building performance.
2. Research & Innovation:
Lead R&D initiatives exploring advanced materials, construction methods, and digital workflows in the realm of modular, precast, and volumetric construction.
Collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and internal teams to identify emerging trends, materials, and technologies.
Conduct prototype testing, pilot projects, and performance evaluations to validate research findings, translating insights into practical solutions.
3. Project Collaboration & Coordination:
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, production specialists, and other R&D professionals to ensure seamless integration of structural systems into holistic building solutions.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment and cultivating next-generation talent in modular construction.
Engage with stakeholders both internal and external to communicate technical concepts, address challenges, and align solutions with project goals.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Review and approve structural calculations, models, and construction documents related to modular, precast, and volumetric assemblies.
Ensure conformity with Indian codes (IS) and international standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC), as well as relevant environmental and safety regulations.
Implement and continuously improve quality control measures that guarantee reliability, precision, and consistency throughout the modular construction lifecycle.
5. Sustainability & Performance Optimization:
Integrate sustainable design principles into modular systems, focusing on energy efficiency, material optimization, and reduced environmental impact.
Champion the use of recycled or advanced materials that enhance long-term durability and reduce carbon footprint.
Identify opportunities to streamline manufacturing, transport, and assembly processes, contributing to faster project delivery and improved cost efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Master s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with a research focus on modular construction, precast systems, or volumetric methodologies.
Experience:
At least 5 years of structural engineering experience, including hands-on involvement in precast and volumetric modular construction projects.
Proficiency in using structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla) and BIM platforms (e.g., Revit).
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and other materials commonly used in precast and modular assemblies.
Familiarity with Indian and international building codes and standards, as well as best practices in off-site construction.
