Role & responsibilities

RFQ process

• Supplier identification
• Develop technical and regional supplier market intelligence.
• RFI (Request for information) from new vendors,
• RFQ (Request for quote) from suppliers and quote analysis
• New Supplier Onboarding and Supplier data management
• Offer evaluation & Business case with ROI, CAPEX, NRE details

Project Management

• Project tracker with milestone Plan v/s actual
• Recurring review to track project milestones
• Track cost reduction projects
• Initiate PPAP requests and monitor PPAP progress

Data Management

• Maintain commodity tracker for all projects.
• Maintain PIR tracker
• Master files
• Maintain Project savings tracker

Analytics/ Reporting:

• Sourcing dashboard updates, Commodity trend analysis & tracking.
• Impact Analysis and Data collections on Price increase/decrease
• Track part cost data and analytics
• Savings report analysis, Top drivers
• Biweekly forecasting based on open PO/forecast Gap v/s Budget v/s PST

Strategy

• Identify cost Saving opportunity using levers
• Identify target cost saving projects

Tactical activities

• Sourcing Rules, Price Feed upload.
• PST Upload
• Initiate PPAP requests
• Workflow Approval Requests for Site approvals SCM handover / SSS/ PID
• PO release or NRE / CAPEX
• PO release or Initial samples

Electrical Components to handle

• Harness
• Speed sensors
• Terminals
• Capacitors
• Switches
• Contactors
• Connectors, etc
