Position- Content Writer (Banking and Finance Industry)

Job Description

• Communicate effectively with the team to understand project briefs, target audiences, and objectives.
• Draft high-quality, well-researched banking or finance related blog posts, marketing materials, and social media content that can provide value to our readers while keeping them engaged.
• Translate complex financial topics into accessible, interactive, bite size content that encourages engagement within our network of banking/finance/fintech professionals.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to create informative content that resonates with our target audience.
• Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, a smooth flow and consistent brand image.
• Ensure the content produced is optimized for search engines.
• Undertake multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Experience:

• Degree in English, marketing, finance, journalism or a related field.
• Experience in copywriting, content writing and creative writing, ideally in the domains of banking/ finance or fintech.
• Minimum 2 years' writing experience, ideally with some published articles in your portfolio.
• Strong research skills combined with a good understanding of various kinds of financial services, banking industry trends and fintech ecosystem.
• Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
• Adequate SEO knowledge to be able to draft search engine optimized content.
