Content Editor

ONION INSIGHTS is seeking experienced Content Editors (Quality Check Associates - Sr. and Jr.) with a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer experience. The ideal candidate will review and refine Mystery Shopping Reports, client communications, and internal documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role involves collaborating with Mystery Shoppers, and our internal Operations teams to uphold high standards of content quality, ensuring that all Mystery Shopping Reports deliver actionable insights for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and Review Content: Proofread, edit, and refine Mystery Shopping Reports, client communications, surveys, and other content to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Quality Control: Ensure all content is free of errors, adheres to a consistent voice and tone, and meets company quality standards.
• Content Creation: Assist in creating and developing templates, instructional guides, training modules, and other internal documents to support content quality.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Mystery Shoppers, Operations Teams, and Project Managers to understand the requirements and ensure clarity and relevance in all deliverables.
• Optimise Reports for Readability: Structure reports for easy comprehension, extracting key insights and ensuring clarity in client deliverables.
• Maintain Content Guidelines: Ensure that all content adheres to established guidelines, making recommendations for updates to style and tone as needed to enhance brand consistency.
• Feedback and Training: Provide constructive feedback to Mystery Shoppers to improve the quality and effectiveness of their reports and content.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Content Editor, Copy Editor, or in a similar editorial role, preferably in Customer Experience, Mystery Shopping, or Market Research.
• Education: Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Ability to write and edit clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management tools.
• Familiarity with CRM or project management tools (e.g., SASSIE) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Knowledge: Understanding of Mystery Shopping, Market Research, or Customer Experience industries is highly advantageous.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable providing feedback and working with diverse teams.
