Machine Learning Engineer - Data Scientist

About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our data team to solve data-driven critical business problems. You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying computer vision models. The Data Scientist will collaborate with software developers, database architects, data analysts, data engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Implement and optimize computer vision models (e.g., YOLO) for object detection, image classification, and other image/video analytics tasks.

Conduct data preprocessing and augmentation to improve model accuracy and robustness.

Develop and fine-tune generative models (e.g., text-to-image or image-to-image) to meet project requirements.

Build, train, and optimize various machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, regression, or clustering tasks.

Work with AWS services (SageMaker, S3, Lambda, EC2, etc.) to build, deploy, and monitor ML workflows.

Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices for ML model delivery.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, product managers, and software developers.

Present findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Education: Bachelor s degree (B.E. / B. Tech) in Computer Science or equivalent from reputed institute.

Required Technical Skills

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

1-3 years experience in data science or a related role.

Proficiency in Python; knowledge of libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Familiarity with frameworks such as YOLO, OpenCV, or TensorFlow/PyTorch CV libraries.

Understanding of algorithms, model tuning, and basic Generative AI concepts.

Experience with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda).

Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
