Job Description
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-12 years of relevant experience in plumbing design, with expertise in plumbing layouts, piping systems, drainage systems, water supply systems, PHE (Public Health Engineering), and fire fighting design.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations for various types of projects including Malls, Hotels, High-rise Towers, Hospitals, Industrial, and Infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in plumbing design software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plumbing System Design: Lead and develop plumbing designs for diverse projects such as Malls, Hotels, High-rise Towers, Hospitals, Industrial, and Infrastructure projects, including layouts, piping systems, drainage systems, water supply systems, and selection of plumbing fixtures.
- PHE & Fire Fighting System Design: Oversee the design of PHE and fire fighting systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed and accurate design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring adherence to plumbing codes and regulations.
- Tender Preparation: Lead the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and technical specifications related to plumbing, PHE, and fire fighting systems.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of plumbing, PHE, and fire fighting systems into overall project plans.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of plumbing designs and documentation to maintain high standards of work.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits as necessary to assess existing conditions, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Project Management: Manage plumbing design projects from conception to completion, including budget management and timeline adherence, while providing leadership to the project team.
- Coordination Meetings: Lead coordination meetings with project teams to ensure effective integration of plumbing, PHE, and fire fighting systems.
Note: Only candidates with 7-12 years of relevant experience in plumbing design, including PHE and fire fighting design, will be considered. Strong leadership skills and thorough knowledge of plumbing codes for various project types are essential.
