Job Purpose and Scope

Area development and procurement of fresh Marigold flowers in one region under contract farming.

Key Accountabilities:

Execution plan for 1500 - 2000 acres of Marigold cultivation under contract farming in one region in co-ordination with all team members.

To survey and shortlist potential clusters for Marigold cultivation under Area Expansion program in consultation with Head Agri Operations.

To shortlist and appoint efficient Field Coordinators across all clusters well before the season.

To ensure that timely arranging, stocking and distribution of pesticides and fertilizers across all clusters.

Monitoring field activities and crop management to maximise the productivity of marigold crop.

To manage and document Demo and R&D plots.

To manage procurement / logistics of marigold flowers and payment to farmers.

Achieving the targets set by the management for the allotted area of operation with right quality of output.

Planning and managing the regional operations budget and maintaining financial records.

To maintain good liaison with all stakeholders

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education: B.Sc / M.Sc (Agri)

Experience:

5-10 Years

• Knowledge in Agri Extension-Crops Marigold, Chilies
