Job Purpose & Scope:

• Area development and procurement of fresh Marigold flowers in one region under contract farming.

Accountability Result Indicator:

• Team Management
• Area Development

Key Accountabilities:

• Execution plan for 1500 - 2000 acres of Marigold cultivation under contract farming in one region in co-ordination with all team members.
• To survey and shortlist potential clusters for Marigold cultivation under Area Expansion program in consultation with Head Agri Operations.
• To shortlist and appoint efficient Field Coordinators across all clusters well before the season.
• To ensure that timely arranging, stocking and distribution of pesticides and fertilizers across all clusters.
• Monitoring field activities and crop management to maximise the productivity of marigold crop.
• To manage and document Demo and R&D plots.
• To manage procurement / logistics of marigold flowers and payment to farmers.
• Achieving the targets set by the management for the allotted area of operation with right quality of output.
• Planning and managing the regional operations budget and maintaining financial records.
• To maintain good liaison with all stakeholders.

Qualifications, Experience:

Education: B.Sc / M.Sc (Agri)

Experience:

• 5-10 Years
• Knowledge in Agri Extension-Crops Marigold, Chilies
