Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Department: Business Development

Location: Rajkot

Experience: 6 months to 3 years

CTC: Up to ₹4 Lakhs per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Market Research:
    • Identify and target potential customers through various channels.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  2. RFQ Management:
    • Study Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and ensure timely response.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to develop and finalize quotes.
  3. Sales Coordination:
    • Follow up on quotes and track progress till order receipt.
    • Collaborate with internal departments like Costing, SCM, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth order execution.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  5. Order Progress Monitoring:
    • Track the progress of orders, ensuring timely delivery and high On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
    • Address and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly.
  6. Sales Planning and Reporting:
    • Assist in maintaining and updating sales plans.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management on sales activities.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments like Quality Assurance, Design, and Production to ensure customer requirements are met.
    • Support the coordination of audits or inspections as needed.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Meeting assigned sales targets.
  • Conversion ratio of RFQs to orders.
  • Customer satisfaction levels.
  • Timely delivery and quality compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sales is preferred but not mandatory.
