We are hiring for the position of General Manager (GM) / Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Quality at our state-of-the-art facility in Rajkot. If you have a proven track record in quality assurance, process optimization, and compliance with global standards, this is your opportunity to make an impact!

About the Role

As GM/AGM - Quality, you will be responsible for ensuring world-class quality standards across our manufacturing operations. You will lead the development and implementation of quality control processes, oversee supplier quality management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a strategic leadership role, requiring you to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, API Standards, IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications.
• Lead quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) initiatives to minimize defects and ensure customer delight.
• Handling of customer complaint.
• Quality planning
• First time right and rework / rejection improvement.
• Handling of Non-conformity (Internal)
• Productivity / Cycle time improvement for quality.
• Establish supplier quality audits and vendor development programs to maintain high supply chain standards.
• Oversee testing, validation, and inspection of products to ensure adherence to customer and industry specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Monitor key quality metrics, including PPM (Parts Per Million), First Pass Yield, and Rework Rates.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and customer service teams to resolve quality concerns and enhance process efficiencies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
• Develop and mentor a high-performing quality assurance team.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 15+ years in quality assurance/quality control, preferably worked in the Industrial Engineering / Hydraulics / Machine shop / etc.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, precision machining, and material testing methodologies.
• Process Improvement: Hands-on experience preferably with Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), 5S, Gemba, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems, quality related software, and industrial automation tools.
