Job Description

Job Title: Lead

Department: Delivery

Job Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Project Manager

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

Staff Management

Directly supervises assigned MDAs and/or DAs and is responsible to address day to day questions/concerns, ensure daily and weekly production targets are met and completion of CAP items when required (e.g. MDA/DA self-review of cases).
Provides on-going performance feedback, including concerns and recommendations raised by Technical and Quality Assurance teams.
Responsible for completion of performance appraisals and corrective action as needed with support and guidance of Project Manager, Operations.

Production and Project Management

Responsible to monitor team s productivity and pacing and provide integral support to Project Manager, Operations in validating established benchmarks and creating and maintaining applicable SOPs.
Escalates production concerns to Project Manager, Operations and facilitates case validation with Project Analyst or Project Lead as needed after initial outreach to MDAs/DAs.
For project(s) assigned, responsible for project dashboard maintenance, case and flag allocation for all project team members and daily completion of project production trackers, alerting Project Manager, Operations for any production deficit(s) and reason (e.g. slow performers, unplanned leaves)

Data Management and Quality

Review trackers and other data sources for discrepancies (e.g. Vasta Internal tracker) to ensure alignment with productive tasks; works with their team to reconcile reported tasks entries as needed to ensure accurate reporting.
Works closely with MIS to establish and maintain workflows for productivity reporting; is responsible for on-going review and validation of data
Performs basic data queries as needed to aid productivity monitoring and validation.

Special Projects

May lead or participate in special projects or client specific initiatives as directed

Security responsibilities

Completion of compliance awareness training for all the team members.
Review the Risk register annually or in case of any changes and obtain approvals.
Update Procedure documents, Risk Register and ensure there are approvals.
Review and update HIPAA, Information security violations to stake holders.
Ensure the ISMS Objectives are monitored .
Operations team leader must do regular dip stick to make sure adherence of ISMS.
Operations team leaders should make sure no password sharing within the team to meet required targets.
Operations team leader should not save any PHI data on Vasta domain.
Operations team leader should not share PHI data via Vasta email.
All the systems should be locked when not in use.

Education & Experience:

3-5 years experience in Team Management, Project Management and Process Management
UG/PG in Medical and Non-Medical
Experience with Excel required and with query tools such as SQL, R Access will be an added advantage.

Required Skills / Abilities:

Excellent communication skills and abilities to collaborate with and present to individuals of varying levels of authority, including senior and Executive leadership
Strong organizational and time management skills
Outstanding written and verbal skills
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with multi-disciplinary project teams
