Job Description

Position Title: Manager - CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Location: Chennai

Years of Experience: 8 - 12 yrs. of experience as a Content Writer preferably focused on the Service Industry

Department: Digital Marketing

Shift: 10 AM- 7 PM

Roles and Responsibilities

Accountable for all content generation, development and proofreading work of the Marketing Team. Has functions ranging from creative copywriting to content writing

Develops content for external communications including collaterals, marketing mailers, other marketing campaigns, brochures, success stories, white papers, case studies and articles, preparation of help files, user guides, banners & other related content with an industry focus and solutions approach

Develops content for websites & social media sites . Develop corporate PowerPoint presentations . Takes up Editing and Proofreading of various content

Connects with internal stakeholders and gathers information, generates content ideas, and develops them for usage across different channels

Skills required :

Excellent knowledge of English (written and oral) and good communication skills. Have impeccable grammar, punctuation and command over the language

Good analytical skills. Have a flair to understand the contents services or processes of the company, and present lucid content of the same

Well-versed with publishing software like MS Office etc.

Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision

Self-starter and highly motivated with a bent of creativity to churn out content at short notice for different usage

Quick learner and ability to pick up nuances of the industry to incorporate the style and jargon in the content

Good stakeholder management

Ability to work in a dynamic corporate environment and handle pressure

Preference of Educational background:

Bachelor s/ masters degree in English literature/mass communications or related courses

Related professional courses would be an added advantage

Preference of Professional background:

Digital Marketing departments of reputed IT/ITES companies, English newspapers, magazines, Ad agencies , Publishing houses, online writing etc.
