About the role:

Were seeking a visionary Gen AI Art Director to bridge the worlds of premium creative execution and artificial intelligence innovation. This role will lead a team of Gen AI Creators while personally crafting exceptional visual solutions for prestigious brands. The ideal candidate will combine deep design expertise with advanced Gen AI capabilities, particularly suited to beauty, luxury, and premium sector work.

What you will be doing:

Creative Leadership Execution:

• Direct and inspire Gen AI Creators in delivering high-quality, high-performing creative solutions
• Lead the visual development of campaigns from concept to execution using Gen AI tools
• Ensure all creative output maintains premium brand standards and design excellence
• Pioneer new approaches to Gen AI-driven creative development
• Maintain exceptional craft standards across all deliverables

Technical Direction:

• Master and evolve Gen AI techniques (using tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
• Develop and document best practices for Gen AI creative production
• Overcome creative limitations through innovative problem-solving
• Guide team members in optimizing Gen AI outputs for premium brand standards
• Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to advance Gen AI capabilities

Client Team Management:

• Partner with Customer Success teams to refine briefs and manage client expectations
• Present creative work and articulate Gen AI solutions to clients
• Mentor and develop Gen AI Creators skills and capabilities
• Structure efficient Gen AI delivery processes
• Build trust in Gen AI solutions while maintaining brand integrity

What you need to be great in this role:

• 8+ years of art direction experience, with significant exposure to premium brands
• Proven track record in premium sector creative development
• Deep expertise in Gen AI tools and creative applications
• Strong foundation in traditional design principles and craft
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud
• Excellence in team leadership and mentoring
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Access to reliable high-speed internet (40+ Mbps)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
• Flexibility to engage with global teams across time zones

Preferred Experience:

• Beauty, luxury, or premium fashion brand experience
• Experience delivering Gen AI solutions for real-world advertising
• Multi-market or global brand experience
• Experience in managing and developing creative teams

Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Gen AI tools and techniques
• Expert-level prompting and model selection capabilities
• Strong retouching and finishing skills
• Proficiency in creative automation workflows
