Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth
Manage the sales pipeline and develop accurate sales forecasts, with a focus on agility and adaptability
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Ports, Defence and Law Enforcement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities, and adapt business development plans accordingly
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and marketing materials that resonate with the startups target audience
Work closely with the management team to develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue while remaining competitive in the market.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on enterprise sales
Proven track record of driving revenue growth through the development and execution of successful business development plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative when required and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to travel as needed
Candidate who has had co-founder experience and has done business development or sales would be preferred
Experience in enterprise sales within sectors like Oil & Gas, Ports, etc., is strongly preferred
Additionally, candidates with prior experience in collaborating with defence organizations and a strong understanding of government tendering processes will be given extra consideration.
