Assistant Account Manager

Location: Noida

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Bitumen Emulsion Industry. The ideal candidate with a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing sector and specific experience in handling the financial aspects of a bitumen emulsion production unit. This role requires a professional who can manage financial records, oversee budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, and other accounting documents.
• Oversee daily accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.

GST Compliance:

• Prepare and file Monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Reconcile Sale register with GSTR-1 data monthly.
• Perform reconciliation between GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B.
• Conduct reconciliation between GSTR-1 & E-Invoice Report.
  
  

Other Responsibilities:

• Reconcile GST Ledger with Purchase register.
• Coordinate with the Manufacturing Unit.
• Implement and maintain cost accounting systems for the manufacturing unit.
• Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
• Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client needs fulfillment.
• Keeping accurate records about account notes etc.
• Purchase entry, Sales entry, credit note debit note entry.
• Bank reconciliation
• Journal expense entry.
• TDS deduction entry.
• Knowledge of Excel and e-commerce reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and work with the sales team to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support.
• Check and verify double payment incidents arising from gateway process issues and other reasons and process for refund.
• Receive, handle, and resolve queries from the parent-connect team, related to invoicing and payments.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial reports comprising Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the bitumen emulsion sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
