Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights into the companys financial health.
• Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  
• Develop and maintain accurate budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor variances between actual and budgeted financials and advise management on corrective actions.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  
• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Manage the collection of outstanding debts, following up with clients as necessary.
• Tax Compliance & Reporting:
  
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax filings, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory obligations.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance.
• Internal Controls & Audits:
  
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate and support external auditors during annual audits and reviews.
• Team Management:
  
• Supervise and lead the accounting team, providing training, support, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters preferred).
• Professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with [2] years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in accounting software Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
