SAP APO Consultant - E2E Implementation (8-15 yrs)

Consultant - SAP APO PPDS

- Communicate with business partners and gather business requirements

- Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, document and validate requirements for changes to business processes, revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary, policies and information systems ensuring testing requirements are met and documenting business requirements

- Competent to work on all phases of development and has a good understanding of a business or function

- Globally monitor customer program/consignment inventory as they relate to established MIN / MAX values and performance targets

- At least 2+ full lifecycle SAP APO implementations and 7+ years of industry or consulting experience

- Experience in Configuring, Testing, Implementing and supporting SAP APO - Global Available to Promise (GATP), Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP)

- Experience in SAP APO version upgrades, enhancement pack upgrades and implementations with SAP recommended Best Practices as drivers

- Rule Based ATP, Allocation, Availability, Sourcing, QTVB jobs to find out inconsistent Sales Orders, SDRQCR21 jobs to correct inconsistencies, CCR jobs for synching stock situation in R/3 and APO, Back Order Processing, Allocations transferred to Planning Area, Transfer Allocations and CVCs from Planning Area to AC42, Monitoring process chains for uploading allocations to CVCs provided by business

- Develop and deliver IBP demos to clients and be able to explain business benefits and best practices

Technical knowledge - Apply growing technical knowledge of the SAP Advanced Planner & Optimizer (APO) Module to solve application issues of varying complexity

- Experience in APO in at least 2 projects (FULL CYCLE, from initiation to closure)

- Candidate should have at least 7-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP in development and maintenance / support projects

- He / She will be responsible for the design, development, testing & support for ABAP

- Work closely with our SAP Functional Specialists to deliver, maintain , troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality

- Perform code review and work as single point of contact for all ABAP developments

- Analyze current business processes, identify possible gaps for improvement, and propose IT solutions that align with business objectives

- Develop, prototype, test and implement SAP APO solution enhancements

- Contribute or lead larger projects and/or guide others to lead smaller projects

- Expertise in SAP implementation and Rollout Projects

- Expertise in Manufacturing modules exposure (PP / PPDS / QM) with experience of SAP S4 HANA Implementation.

- Facilitate the Deployment of global design template and do Fit gap analysis per Rollout considering the Localization elements.

- Liaison closely with business team to capture requirements related with manufacturing modules

- Prepare design proposals for identified gaps and get it validated with Solution architect from M2D Stream.

- Coordinate with business and CTLs for information needed by implementation team for enabling system configurations and data setup.

- Modelling and documenting business processes using the process methodology.

- Providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs and working together with the development team on SAP Configurations & custom developments.

- Prepare needed details for documentation for WRICEFS identified during Fit gap and process via the required approval flow as and when applicable

- Align with team to keep all project documentation updated at any point of time.
