Intern - Flutter Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Assist and implement the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications using the Flutter framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and responsiveness of applications.
• Learn and implement UI/UX designs into functional mobile applications.
• Attention to detail and a drive to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mobile app development.
• Support the team in various tasks related to software development and testing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in mobile app development using Flutter.
• Knowledge of Dart programming language.
• Understanding of mobile app lifecycle and state management tools (e.g., Bloc, Riverpod, etc).
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Previous projects, internships, or coursework experience in mobile app development is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Exposure to version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of deploying apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Experience with tools like Firebase, WebEngage, AppsFlyer, Health Kit or Google Fit libraries or other backend integrations.
