Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress, theme development, plugin customization, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites that are user-friendly, responsive, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites that meet client requirements and business objectives.
• Custom Theme & Plugin Development: Create custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or modify existing ones to suit project needs.
• Content Management: Work with the content team to ensure that website content is updated regularly and formatted correctly.
• Website Optimization: Optimize website performance for speed, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues with WordPress websites, ensuring smooth functionality and user experience.
• SEO Best Practices: Implement SEO best practices to improve website rankings on search engines.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure the websites are aligned with the projects goals.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in WordPress development and web technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress (theme development, plugin customization, and integrations).
• Experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (e.g., responsive design, web performance, cross-browser compatibility).
• Strong experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.
• Familiarity with website security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of SEO, website analytics, and performance optimization tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with website hosting, server management, and DNS configurations.
• Familiarity with other CMS platforms or frameworks (e.g., Joomla, Drupal, Laravel) is a plus.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Experience working with a team in an Agile environment.
