Patient Relation Manager

Responsibilities:

Department Management:

• Ensure efficient functioning of the patient relations department.
• Manage patient relations team, including scheduling roasters, training, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss issues and solutions.

Patient Advocacy:

• Interact with patients, address their concerns, and mediate between patients, the patient relations team, and doctors.
• Explain policies, procedures or services in a clear and understandable manner.
• Handle escalated issues from patients and the medical team.
• Ensure timely and thorough resolution of patient complaints and concerns.
• Work towards minimizing patient wait times.

Quality Improvement:

• Establish and enforce department standards to maintain high-quality service.
• Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and analyse results to identify areas for improvement.
• Streamline systems and processes to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with various departments and their managers to improve patient care coordination.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Manage MIS (Management Information System) for patient relations data.
• Generate reports on patient feedback and identify trends.
