Business Head - Operations

Experience: 5+ years in operations, supply chain and general management (preferably in FMCG, D2C, or retail)
Reporting to: Founder/CEO

Role Overview

The Business Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations management, warehousing, logistics, vendor management, and overall operational excellence. This role requires strategic leadership, executional excellence, and a strong ability to optimize processes for scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Logistics Management

• Oversee procurement, inventory planning and warehousing.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Optimize last-mile delivery, working with 3PL partners for seamless execution.

2. Operations & Process Optimization

• Build scalable and efficient processes for procurement, packaging, and fulfillment.
• Identify bottlenecks in operations and implement solutions for productivity improvement.
• Leverage technology and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in warehousing.

3. Business Strategy & Growth Enablement

• Work closely with the leadership team to align operations with business growth plans.
• Optimize cost structures and improve margins.
• Lead new projects by ensuring operational readiness.

4. Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing operations team.
• Set KPIs, track performance, and drive accountability across operations functions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or business management (preferably in FMCG, D2C or e-commerce).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Hands-on experience in warehouse and inventory management.
• Expertise in demand forecasting, procurement, and vendor negotiations.
• Familiarity with supply chain technology, ERP systems, and automation tools.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Advance Excel is a must.
