The Opportunity

Nutanix, a leader in enterprise cloud, is looking to hire a SDET/ MTS - QA for IDF team. Nutanix welcomes builders, those who are unafraid to take on hard challenges and learn new technologies.

IDF is a proprietary distributed NoSQL database developed in-house using C++. It is engineered for maximum efficiency, offering lightweight, low-latency, and high-throughput performance. The database features fault tolerance, notifications, cross-cluster replication, r-indexes, configuration management, time-series support, and SQL-like querying capabilities.

About the Team

At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to be part of the Insights Data Fabric (IDF) team, consisting of 20 high-performing individuals spread across locations in the US and India. We are looking for passionate and highly motivated individuals who can own the end to end quality of IDF features / components / enhancements. You will be expected to work in an on-site setup, where you will be required to be present in the office 4 days a week. This arrangement fosters a sense of camaraderie and allows for more seamless collaboration among team members, leading to increased productivity and creativity. Additionally, being in the office most of the week offers the chance to engage face-to-face with colleagues, enabling better communication and relationship building within the team.

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
