Job Description
- Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
- Assess, monitor, and analyze infection risks in the hospital
- Ensure compliance with established infection control protocols and guidelines, including NABH, HAZMAT etc
- Educate healthcare staff on infection control measures
- Conduct audits to assess adherence to infection control practices
- Collaborate with various departments to minimize the spread of infections
- Investigate and report infectious outbreaks
- Stay current on emerging infectious diseases and best practices
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for maintaining a safe healthcare environment
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills required.
Qualification:
Any GNM/ B.Sc (Nursing) with WB state registration and certificate course in Infection Control. Local candidates will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years as ICN of a NABH accredited hospital;
Maximum: 5 years of experience
