Production Manager

Role & Responsibilities

Production Planning

• Develop and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure availability of raw materials and resources to meet production targets.

Raw Material Stock Management

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and ensure stock levels meet production needs.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of materials.

Production Execution

• Oversee and guide daily production tasks, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality targets.
• Supervise production team to maintain efficient and effective workflow.

Waste Management

• Track and minimize material wastage during production.
• Implement and drive waste reduction initiatives to optimize resource utilization.

Quality Control (QC) - Raw Materials & Production

• Ensure raw materials are thoroughly inspected before production to meet quality standards.
• Oversee quality control during and after production to ensure final products meet required specifications.

Quality Control (QC) - Packaging

• Ensure packaging meets company standards and products are securely packaged for shipment

Data Recording & Entry

• Accurately document production-related data, including output, downtime, and quality issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into factory management systems.

Production Optimization

• Identify areas for process improvement to increase production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements in production processes.

Floor Supervision

• Supervise daily operations on the factory floor, including staff management, task delegation, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant production environment.

Training & Development

• Onboard and train new staff on production processes, safety procedures, and equipment use.
• Provide ongoing training and support to team members for continuous performance improvement.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in factory or production supervision, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage production schedules and team workflow.
• Knowledgeable in production processes and quality control standards.
• Proficient in accurate data recording and entry, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage machine breakdowns effectively.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance regulations within a manufacturing setting.
