Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the production process in our machine manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring efficient production processes, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Production Staff: Lead and supervise a team of production staff, including machine operators, welders, and assembly workers.

2. Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.

3. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards by conducting regular inspections and audits.

4. Machine Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production staff follow safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements.

6. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

7. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and improve efficiency.

8. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to improve their skills and knowledge.

9. Communication: Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements:

1. Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

2. Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role in a machine manufacturing environment.

3. Skills:

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
