Job Description
- Experience of working in Cash Equities and Derivatives Front Office Trading environment involving Algorithmic Trading and Trade floor support.
Complete Trade life cycle process knowledge including middle and back-office processes, upstream systems flow, etc.
Technology:
- Strong problem-solving skills backed by Shell/ Python scripting and DevOps tooling.
- Ability to work on databases, preferably SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, any other.
- Experience of supporting applications on Windows and Linux / UNIX OS
- Sound understanding of India Exchange connectivity.
- Good understanding of messaging tech - FIX, XML.
Experience on Exchange Co-location setup, support and coordination with Exchange.
Roles:
- L1 and L2 support activities of all local applications - trading, back-office, finance, market-data applications, etc.
- Liaise with respective application vendor and group teams for Regional application support teams.
- Be responsible for Incident Management and Hygiene. Root Cause assessment and follow-ups with external teams. Prepare Incident and quality dashboard for management reporting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders during production incident. Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to Senior management in a timely manner.
- Actively engage with required teams and stakeholders for conducting BCP and DR drill to ensure business continuity. Prepare reports and publish reports as per policy requirements.
- Effectively manage operational risks, Internal control .
- Work with ITSO to support them in ITSO governance, BCP/DR drills, Audits, Cyber Sec governance and track it on regular basis.
- Contribute along with delivery teams on crucial projects.
- At all time ensuring that role-holder adheres to Governance framework as well as work in-line to Regulatory guidelines.
- Working Knowledge of System Audit of Trading system experience, In-house trading platforms in Indian Market
Skills:
- Educational qualification:A Computer Science / Information Technology graduation or equivalent.
- Experience:Minimum 8+ years of experience in Application Support role in Capital Market domain.
- Certification: NISM SORM 7 or higher.
Good to have experience on Monitoring & Automation tools, Jira, Confluence, Control M, etc.
