We are currently seeking a Python, DOS & Shell scripting, PL/SQL, Git Stash, Jenkins, Udeploy - Production Support Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karn taka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Skills - Automation skills using Python, Dos & Shell scripting. Analysis and testing of developed scripts in Python / DOS.

Location: Bangalore - Manyata / EGL
Shift timings: 11:00AM-8:00 PM and 08:00AM-05:00PM

The Purpose of This Role
This is an automation position for WI Production support team who can develop and maintain automation and self-service solutions for various teams/consumers within the Fidelity WI business unit. This will also involve building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for various cloud technologies.

The Value You Deliver
In this role, the engineer works in collaboration with the teams to:
Analyze the legacy business critical scripts written in DOS and validate them on new platform
Document and communicate engineering and operational results.
Convert the legacy scripts to Python & test and validate the converted python scripts
Work with operation team to migrate the validated scripts to production
Assist and collaborate in application solution delivery efforts involving the design and development of solutions by incorporating new and/or approved technologies.
Ensure Operations Team is adhering to Information Security, Regulatory Compliance, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management processes/practices.

Technical- Must Have skills
Automation skills using DOS, Shell scripting, Python, PL/SQL, Integration skills using REST and SOAP APIs
Experience working on DevOps Tools like Git Stash, Jenkins, Udeploy, Artifactory, Nexus
Good operating knowledge on Linux, Windows, and Networking
Agile methodologies

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
Knowledge of Ansible.
Knowledge of load balancing concepts using F5, AVI

The Expertise We re Looking For
B.E or MCA with 4 to 6 years of experience

General Expectation
1) Must have Good Communication
2) Must be ready to work in 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM Shift
3) Flexible to work in Client Location Ramanujam IT park, Taramani, Chennai
4) Must be ready to work from office in a Hybrid work environment. Full Remote work is not an option
5) Expect Full Return to office from Feb/Mar25

Pre-Requisites before submitting profiles
1) Must have Genuine and Digitally signed Form16 for ALL employments
2) All employment history/details must be present in UAN/PPF statements
3) Candidate must be screened using Video and ensure he/she is genuine and have proper work setup
4) Candidates must have real work experience on mandatory skills mentioned in JD
5) Profiles must have the companies which they are having payroll with and not the client names as their employers
6) As these are competitive positions and client will not wait for 60 days and carry the risks of drop-out, candidates must of 0 to 3 weeks of Notice Period
7) Candidates must be screened for any gaps after education and during employment for genuineness of the reasons
