- Education : Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience :
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including:
- BigQuery
- DataFlow
- Dataproc
- DataPlex
- DataFusion
- Cloud SQL
- Cloud Storage
- Terraform
- Tekton
- 2+ years of experience in Data Transfer Utilities (data importing/exporting tools).
- 2+ years of experience in version control tools such as Git (or any other version control tool).
- 2+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka for event-driven data pipelines.
- 1+ years of experience in API Development (creating or consuming APIs).
- 4+ years of experience in Python and PySpark development.
- 4+ years of experience in Shell Scripting for developing ad hoc jobs for data manipulation and processing.
- 2+ years of experience working within an Agile Framework for project development and delivery.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including:
- Core Technical Skills :
- Google Cloud Platform : BigQuery, Data Flow, Dataproc, DataPlex, DataFusion, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Terraform, Tekton
- Data Engineering : Data transfer utilities, Confluent Kafka
- Programming : Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark
- Automation Orchestration : Airflow, shell scripting
- Cloud Infrastructure : Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure
- Version Control : Git or any other version control systems
- Preferred :
- API Development : Experience in building and consuming APIs, especially in the context of cloud services.
- Python : Advanced Python skills for data processing and automation.
- 3+ years of direct experience working with the technologies listed above, particularly in cloud-based data engineering projects and API integrations.
- Develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines in GCP using tools like DataFlow, BigQuery, and Dataproc.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Tekton.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment to design and deliver robust data solutions.
- Develop ad-hoc jobs using shell scripting for efficient data processing and automation.
- Ensure seamless integration of data across systems via Confluent Kafka and API development.
- Optimize cloud storage solutions for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain data pipeline systems and processes.
