GCP Data Engineering Specialist

• Lead GCP engineering and automation efforts, applying extensive experience in building and managing GCP s data storage and processing services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Dataform, Data Fusion, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud SQL
• Implement and manage data pipelines using tools like Airflow, Dataflow, Cloud Run, DBT, and Pub/Sub
• Orchestrate end-to-end data pipelines leveraging GCP services like Cloud Composer and Dataform, ensuring efficiency, reusability, and fault tolerance
• Manage complex data flows, including unstructured and streaming data, ensuring robust and scalable solutions
• Utilize Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Ops to manage data processes effectively
• Implement GCP native BigQuery and/or Postgres for data management and analysis
• Work with containers and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to enhance automation and scalability of data solutions

What We Look For:

• 7-14 years of experience in GCP engineering, with a focus on automation and data processing
• Strong implementation experience with GCPs data storage and processing services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Dataform, Data Fusion, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud SQL
• Proficiency in tools such as Airflow, Dataflow, Cloud Run, DBT, and/or Pub/Sub
• Expertise in orchestrating end-to-end data pipelines using Cloud Composer or Dataform, with a focus on reusability and fault tolerance
• Experience in handling unstructured and streaming data for large-scale data processing
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Ops
• Familiarity with containers and IaC tools like Terraform is desirable
• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications in cloud and data engineering are a plus
