- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for big data applications
- Create and maintain automated test frameworks using Python

- Validate data quality and integrity across various stages of processing
Technical Implementation
- Write and execute test scripts using Spark Shell for data validation
- Automate big data workflows including ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processes
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks
- Create and manage test data sets for various testing scenarios
- Monitor and optimize test execution performance
Quality Assurance
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness through comprehensive testing
- Identify and document software defects
- Perform regression testing and impact analysis
- Create detailed test documentation and reports
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Required Skills Qualifications Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Spark Shell
- Proficient in Python programming and automation framework development
- Experience in testing big data ingestion and aggregation flows
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with SQL and data query languages
