Senior Associate - Physics (SME)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Subject Matter Expert (SEM) with 1-3 years of experience in the EdTech sector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the JEE Mains and Advanced syllabi, NCERT curriculum, and a passion for creating engaging educational content. This role is integral to enhancing the quality of our educational resources and supporting students across the K-12 segment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Question Paper Tagging  (60%)
  
• Accurately tag delivered mock JEE Mains and Advanced question papers to enhance the content database.
• Resolve tickets and address doubts related to practice content, library resources, and learning materials for high school and college students.
• Content Development & Solution Writing (30%)
  
• Collaborate with the academic R&D team to create high-quality test questions and support the preparation of weekly mock tests.
• Write comprehensive solutions for mock exams.
• Ad Hoc Projects & Content Sanity Check (10%)
  
• Participate in content development workshops aimed at producing quality educational content for students.
• Complete various ad hoc projects, including scripting for educational games and simulations.
• Collaborate with the content operations team to ensure content accuracy and relevancy through sanity checks and curation, including solution writing and development of subject-relevant images and formulas.
  
• Experience: 1-3 years as a Subject Matter Expert (SEM), preferably in the EdTech industry.
• Content Creation Knowledge: Strong understanding of content creation and recreation practices within the EdTech landscape.
• Curriculum Proficiency: Well-versed in JEE Mains, Advanced, and NCERT syllabuses, with the ability to write accurate solutions for domain-specific subjects.
• Subject Expertise: Excellent domain knowledge in Physics
• Age Group Focus: Experience in handling content creation and curation for classes 6 to 12.
• Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject.
• Teaching Experience: Candidates from the teaching industry interested in transitioning to the EdTech space are encouraged to apply.
