NowFloats - Senior Backend Developer - .Net (4-6 yrs)

Roles And Responsibilities :

What you'll do ?

- Build large scale, observable, and highly available infrastructure systems.

- See a problem or opportunity, take ownership and act on it independently; develop methods and habits to be an informed and motivated product owner.

- Develop technical documentation, diagrams and templates and display rigour in maintaining accuracy and relevancy of developed materials.

- Improve developer productivity through better tooling and insights into our APIs (Graph or REST): discoverability, versioning, error rates, and frequency analysis.

- Collaborate with UI teams to enable new functionality and to support their needs; build libraries to support client-side functionality.

- Develop core financial systems used within Risk, Middle and Back Office functions.

- Work on the latest containerised .Net Core 8 systems running on EKS.

- Perform extensive data analysis in MS SQL Server and Snowflake.

- Work with multiple asset classes that involve a wide variety of financial instruments.

- Focus on writing code with visible business impact.

Key Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in building large scale distributed applications easily.

- Experience in working with C# .NET Framework and/or .NET Core is a must.

- Strong SQL and data analysis skills are essential (MSSQL Preferred).

- Comfortable with handling large volumes of data.

- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented development, cyber security, design patterns and core computer science concepts.

- Experience in working with web services

- Experience with AWS and latest .Net framework.

- Experience with .Net services hosted on EKS (or other similar technology).

- Experience in at least two languages and should be able to adapt.

- A hands-on engineer, and you love what you do.

- Experience in building distributed systems with highly available and scalable infrastructure.

- Experience in developing Microservices & concurrent, event-driven systems.

- Optimize server and protocol performance to improve efficiency and latency
