Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a cohesive strategy for the People Transactions team to standardize and optimize HR processes globally.
    • Lead the evaluation and potential restructuring of the team to ensure scalable and consistent support for a global workforce.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee day-to-day HR transactional processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees across all geographies.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the execution of key employee processes within the HRIS, including onboarding, employee changes (promotions, transfers), and offboarding across all global locations.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Organisation Development to ensure HR systems support learning, talent, and cultural processes while maintaining data accuracy across the employee life cycle.
    • Establish and enforce global standards for employee data processing, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Management:
    • Manage global payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
    • Work closely with Executive HRBPs to ensure smooth payroll operations within their respective regions, providing support where needed for local payroll requirements.
  • HRIS Data Governance and Accuracy:
    • Establish and enforce rigorous internal control measures to safeguard organizational integrity and comply with local and international regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure appropriate segregation of duties to mitigate risks and enhance operational accountability.
    • Ensure that people data within the HRIS is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
    • Collaborate with the Director of Organisation Development to leverage HRIS data to support LD and talent processes, ensuring data flows across systems are automated and accurate.
  • Collaboration and System Improvement:
    • Partner closely with the HRIS Transformation team and the Director of Organisation Development to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the HRIS platform, ensuring the system is aligned with business needs and strategic HR initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Executive HRBPs to ensure regional HR teams are equipped to support HR system processes and data governance standards.
  • Team Development:
    • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering consistent and efficient support globally.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other business leaders to align transactional processes with broader organizational goals.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor on People Transactions matters, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead the first major project to assess and redesign the organization structure of the People Transactions team.
    • Deliver project outcomes that enable consistent global support and improved employee experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven leadership experience in managing HR operations or People Transactions in a global organization.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing robust internal controls and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex organizational initiatives.
  • Ability to manage and develop a global team with diverse skill sets and cultural backgrounds.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
