Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for all technical aspects for all projects including new product development, R&D

2. Interacting with client, defining technical scoping of the project and creating a project plan for technical aspects of the project

3. Creating bill of materials, integration, testing, deployment, quality control and ensuring client satisfaction

4. Provide technical inputs at tendering stage, delivering end to end solutions, creating the required Prototype for the projects and working on the development of projects

5. Responsible for teams performance for R&D, service delivery and maintenance.

6. Ensure team is trained, SOPs are designed and implemented

7. Responsible for all new product development and new technologies

8. Reviewing the progress of project on technical aspects time to time and provide guidance to the team

9. Collecting reports and data from team and presenting it to the senior management as and when required pertaining to the project.

10. Keeping self, team and management aware and informed about new technical developments

11. Create training videos to help the team execute the projects based on SOPs

12. Ensuring minimal downtime of assigned equipment

13. Providing training and support to service trainee

14. Building a team bond with all team members

15. Grievance Redressal within the team

16. Conducting formal and informal knowledge transfer sessions with team members

17. Keeping the team capability wise ready and ensure their motivation to take the next level role

18. Taking complete ownership of the team their performance, learning and growth

Specific Requirement:

• Experience of Practical troubleshooting on complex Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical equipment and systems
• Experience in the Installation, commissioning, repair and service of Marine Navigation systems
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weathers
• It is advantageous to have Knowledge of Marine Systems including Radar, Gyrocompass, Autopilot, VDR & GMDSS systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong Knowledge in Electronics & Electrical Background

Experience working with Marine/ship/vessels based industry

Candidate who have prior experience as a project manager can apply
