?Job Description

?We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CBSE English Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a passion for literature, and the ability to engage students with innovative teaching methods. As a CBSE English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum, helping students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills while fostering a love for language and literature.

? Key Responsibilities:

• ?Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum for students across various grade levels.

• ?Teach both language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and literature, including prose, poetry, and drama, while aligning with the prescribed CBSE syllabus.

• ?Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including discussions, multimedia, group activities, and assignments, to engage students and cater to different learning styles.

• ?Incorporate the development of critical thinking, creative writing, and comprehension skills into daily lessons.

• ?Regularly assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, projects, and exams, providing timely and constructive feedback.

• ?Prepare students for internal and board exams, ensuring they understand CBSE-specific assessment patterns and guidelines.

• ?Track and maintain student progress records, reporting on strengths, areas for improvement, and overall development.

• ?Provide additional academic support to students who need help with language skills, writing techniques, or exam preparation.

• ?Encourage students to participate in class discussions, presentations, and extracurricular language-related activities such as debates, writing contests, and drama performances.

• ?Motivate and inspire students to improve their language proficiency and foster a love for reading and literature.

• ?Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment where students feel safe to express their ideas and opinions.

• ?Foster an atmosphere of respect, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.

• ?Manage classroom behavior effectively, using proactive strategies to prevent disruptions and ensure focused learning.

• ?Collaborate with other English teachers and school staff to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.

• ?Participate in regular departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide events, ensuring alignment with school goals and educational objectives.

• ?Contribute to the development and implementation of school projects or initiatives related to language and literature education.

• ?Stay current with trends in English language teaching, CBSE curriculum updates, and new educational technologies.

• ?Participate in workshops, seminars, and conferences to continuously improve teaching practices and pedagogical skills.
