Senior Video R&D Engineer

1. This Video Integration team is a hybrid of Product and Services team, specific to cater the business needs for our Tier1 International Customers with our Nokia Products & Solutions
2. This position is a SME / Technical Specialist Profile for development and delivery of Software and Services based on OSS & BSS integration with IPTV Platform
3. Candidate shall be highly proficient in Web standards, Web Services (SOAP & REST), TCP & IP based communications, SQL Database, PL/SQL
4. Design & Develop new features and enhancements as per the Customer needs & demands over the existing deployed Products or a new Product as necessary
5. Designing of UT and Automated tests to verify feature functionality with a simulator or on real integrated environment
6. Maintain all the Products and its features which are deployed in customer networks
7. Understand the real-world Customer deployments and incorporate Customer feedback into developed features.
8. Work closely with different teams in all phases of SDLC for our existing Products and new Products. Different teams include Pre-sales Team, Delivery Team and Support Team to jointly deliver high quality products and solutions
9. This role requires analytical and out-of-box thinking at-times to cater to the specific situational needs of Customer based on any Critical Production Issues/Limitations
10. As Nokia is a product company, E2E responsibility is there and with Agile/Scrum practices, should be flexible to work on DevOps & Testing Role for Functional Testing, SIT & Performance Testing as necessary.

Responsibilities:

1. Highly flexible and willing to learn the end-to-end platform with the ability to grasp and deploy new concepts and address problem areas quickly.
2. Understand Architecture and High-Level Design and contribute or own the responsibility to do the development and implementation with no deviations and defects
3. Take ownership of design and implementation issues and support tickets and work with architecture team, subject matter experts and backend support to drive it to solutions
4. Should be flexible to work on DevOps & Testing Role for Functional Testing, SIT & Performance Testing as necessary.

1. Bachelor of Engineering
2. At least 10 years of software development experience, out of which at least 5 years in OSS/BSS
3. Experience in Software development and services based on OSS& BSS integration with IPTV platform
4. Should have highly proficient in Web standards, Web Services (SOAP & REST), TCP & IP based communications, SQL Database, PL/SQL
5. Experience in design and develop new features and enhancements as per the customer needs & demands over the existing deployed products or a new product as necessary.
6. Able to design UT and Automated test to verify feature functionality with a simulator or on real integrated environment.
