Role Description

NodeShift is seeking a skilled Developer Relations Engineer to join our dynamic team

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and technical writing, with the ability to produce high-quality, engaging content that communicates the technical capabilities and benefits of NodeShifts offerings similar to our content https://blog

As a Technical Cloud Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating documentation, tutorials, blog posts, whitepapers, and other content to educate and inform our customers and prospects

Responsibilities

Content Creation: Produce clear, concise, and informative content, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers

Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing to ensure content accuracy and relevance

Content Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the content strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to gather information and ensure the technical accuracy of all content

Editing and Review: Review and edit content created by other team members to ensure consistency, clarity, and technical accuracy

SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines and reaches the intended audience

Customer Support: Assist customers with first base support based on their initial issues

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field

Experience: experience in technical writing, preferably within the cloud computing industry

Skills:Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e g

, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, VMs, containers, networking, storage)

Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content

Familiarity with documentation tools and platforms (e g

, Markdown, Git, JIRA, Confluence)

Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar

Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Python, or JavaScript
