DevOps and AWS Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

1. AWS Cloud Management:
• Deploy, manage, and monitor AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPCs, AWS WAF, and Network Firewall.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
• Proficient in managing CentOS and Red Hat Linux environments, including system administration, networking, and security configurations.
• Implement and maintain security best practices (IAM policies, security groups, etc.).
2. Azure Cloud Management:
• Manage Azure services like Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration and cost optimization strategies is preferred.
3. Infrastructure Automation:
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline provisioning.
4. DevOps Support:
• Support CI/CD pipeline setup using tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub Actions, or Code Pipeline.
• Assist in containerization using Docker and basic Kubernetes setups.
5. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
6. Backup and Disaster Recovery:
• Implement and manage backup and failover solutions for AWS and Azure.
7. Collaboration:
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Development teams for seamless operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AWS and Azure services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, etc.).
• Basic understanding of DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker); Kubernetes.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or higher.
• Azure Fundamental / Azure Associate.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
