Software Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with agile development teams to lead and oversee all phases of the secure software development lifecycle, including specification, design, development, implementation, testing, optimization, and delivery.
• Architect and implement cloud strategies aligned with the companys vision, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Design and manage secure, highly available, cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP, making key technology decisions to meet enterprise needs.
• Ensure performance optimization, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud resources.
• Establish and enforce security best practices for cloud environments, ensuring compliance with standards like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and microservices deployments, supporting multi-tenant architectures.
• Configure and manage cloud networking components, ensuring secure and efficient communication between cloud resources and external networks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Lead the adoption of cloud-native architectures and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within teams.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in web application development with strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Node.js, TypeScript).
• Solid experience in DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD and automation.
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of security compliance standards and their implementation.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Strong coding skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Node.js).
• Familiarity with the 12-factor app methodology for building scalable, maintainable cloud-native application
• Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in guiding technical teams and engaging with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
