Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager Sales for our Material Handling Equipment (MHE) division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales operations, driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the sales team and other departments to meet customer needs and achieve organizational sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in formulating and implementing sales strategies for material handling equipment.
Identify key market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to enhance sales performance.
Generate leads, identify potential clients, and convert opportunities into sales.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customer by providing excellent service and support.
Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business.
Deliver effective sales presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating the value and capabilities of material handling solutions.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure favorable terms for both the company and the client.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Track sales performance and provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and market conditions.
Stay updated on product features, technical specifications, and industry advancements.
Provide technical guidance to clients and offer tailored solutions based on customer needs.
Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and product departments to align sales efforts with business goals.
Support the Sales Manager in managing team performance and ensuring cohesive execution of sales strategies.
Conduct market research to understand customer demands, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the material handling equipment sector.
Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer requirements and market insights.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, inquiries, and quotes.
Resolve customer complaints or issues related to products and services in a timely and professional manner.
