We are hiring for Associate Product Manager.

Job Description Summary: As an associate product manager, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of Nirvanas product, throughout its life cycle. It includes gathering and prioritizing requirements, working closely with teams i.e. client services, customer, and development, QA, sales and marketing. This role of product manager requires skills related to the know-how of release management e.g. one of the various agile methodologies - Scrum, Kanban, etc. The product team plays a very important role in Nirvana and becomes the communication hub for matters related to product function, usage, implementation, and delivery. The right candidate will have hands-on

experience of closely working as part of engineering teams and the implementation of the full development life cycle of software products. An ideal candidate will be a master communicator, capable of articulating the messages across various teams and senior executives efficiently and effectively. She/he will be part of Nirvanas Product team and collaborate to support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse and document requirements.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and updating requirement specification documents. Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and senior executives.
• Working closely with customers, various Nirvana teams and senior executives.
• Prioritize requirements, initiatives and tasks to support overall business goals and strategy.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Understanding high-level technical architecture along with data flow, and proactively communicating the critical points based on the overall architecture and usage of the product.
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring progress through follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
• Periodic monitoring of deliverables to ensure stakeholder expectations/final requirements are being met.
• Be a solid team player who understands the need of putting team and company interests above individual interests.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest trends in the financial domain and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Performing market research and creating business requirements/use cases aligned with the company’s strategy and overall goals.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information technology/Computer science, and MBA in Finance stream.
• Hands-on experience of working in engineering teams, and of complete software development life cycle, utilizing agile methodologies.
• 1-4 years of experience in business analysis or related field of software development, preferably to the extent of a developer.
• Knowledge of financial accounting concepts is desirable.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, a succinct communicator. Capable of effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and senior executives.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Capable of putting across the message to stakeholders efficiently and effectively, while keeping an eye on the delivery of bigger goals and purpose.
• Excellent analytical and out of the box thinking skills with “can be done” attitude.
• Experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Competency in Microsoft applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
• Should have experience in using product management tools/software.
