Job Description: Sales Manager - PMS (Portfolio Management Services)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for promoting Nirmal Bang's PMS offerings to potential clients in the Delhi region.
    • Identify and target high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), family offices, and institutional investors.
    • Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring consistent growth in PMS assets under management (AUM).
    • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to enhance PMS offerings and sales strategies.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Understand clients' financial goals and objectives, and provide customized investment strategies through the PMS offerings.
    • Provide timely and accurate updates on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment strategies to clients.
    • Address client queries, concerns, and feedback promptly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  3. Product Knowledge and Market Expertise
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Nirmal Bangs PMS offerings, including various asset classes, investment strategies, and performance metrics.
    • Stay updated with market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes impacting PMS and related financial products.
    • Conduct informative presentations and discussions with clients, highlighting the benefits and features of PMS.
  4. Lead Generation and Business Development
    • Generate new leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and attending industry events.
    • Engage with prospects to understand their financial needs and introduce suitable PMS offerings.
    • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to generate high-quality leads and enhance brand visibility in the market.
  5. Sales Presentations and Negotiations
    • Conduct detailed client presentations, demonstrating the advantages of PMS and Nirmal Bangs investment solutions.
    • Customize solutions based on clients financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon.
    • Lead negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the organization.
  6. Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Track sales performance and progress towards targets regularly.
    • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, market insights, and performance metrics to senior management.
    • Analyze and report on key business trends, client feedback, and competitor activities.
  7. Collaboration with Internal Teams
    • Work closely with the portfolio management, research, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client portfolios.
    • Provide feedback from clients and prospects to the internal teams to improve product offerings and services.
  8. Customer Support and After-Sales Service
    • Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients and effective transition of portfolios to the management team.
    • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any post-investment queries or concerns.
    • Encourage referrals and testimonials from satisfied clients to generate additional leads.



Key Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA, CFA, or other relevant financial certifications will be a plus.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within the financial services industry, with a focus on PMS, wealth management, or asset management.
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of financial products, particularly PMS, mutual funds, equities, and other investment strategies.
    • Strong sales acumen, with the ability to build relationships and close deals with HNIs and institutional clients.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to understand complex financial concepts and articulate them clearly to clients.
    • Proficient in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.
  • Attributes:
    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets.
    • Client-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
    • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the financial markets and investment management strategies.
  • Existing network within the Delhi region, especially among HNIs and institutional investors.
  • Previous experience in a sales role within a leading brokerage or wealth management firm.
